Capítulo 388: Bucket List

Things were going too well. Of course Dallin would expect something to go wrong. 

He really didn't understand why someone like Hailey was even interested in him. It had been months and she didn't seem bored yet. Why was that? 

He noticed that she delighted in simple things like going to the park, sitting around reading, or baking. The first time she managed to make a soft, chewy batch of cookies, she actually jumped into the air in excitement and grinned at him. 

She actually seemed to LIKE the mundane. Maybe that was why she liked him. 

One day in October, Dallin caught Hailey checking something off in a little notebook with painted blueberries on the cover. "Is that a to-do list?"

She nearly jumped out of her skin, her face turning bright red. "Not exactly. It's…well…it's my bucket list."
