Capítulo 278: He Didn't Like This

The clan leader sighed. "And you are absolutely positive you will be able to wrestle said powerful magical object back from the demons? I have heard that faction is obsessed with magical research."

"Yes. They want the fairy king dead even more than we do. They have been researching how to destroy him since he first became immortal. They will take whatever deal is necessary to make that happen," Kael said with false bravado. 

He honestly didn't know if he would be able to get the powerful magical object away from so many demons. At least not on his own. He would need both Ian and Zeldris to help him. 

He would be concerned about the demon not wanting to go against his own kind if not for the fact that he wasn't planning to stick around afterward. He wanted to go back to the human realm. That might be the one positive to that harebrained plan.
