Ning Xiaozhi felt a whirlpool of emotions overwhelming her. Now that she started talking, she could not bring herself to stop.

It felt as if all her pent-up frustration, longing, sadness and anger were finally let out from the deepest part of her heart.

"Do you know much I wanted your attention? How much I wanted to tell you so many things every girl tells their mothers. But you were never there and then if you were, you never cared."

"You were the worst," Ning Xiaozhi shouted.

"Iris calm down a little," Ning Yi reached out to her but she stepped away.

"I hot calming down. I want to know why. Why were you so mean and controlling? What were you seeking to achieve by doing all you did? Did you think life is like a chess board with everyone in like as your chess pieces?"

"No. I don't know... I thought I was doing the right thing. I wanted the best for everyone," Mrs Ning tried to explain herself.
