Capítulo 36: [Chapter:35][The Gang gathers together]
"We're here."
Three days of journey using a horse cart later, the group consisting of Al, Xia Wuting, Xia Yun, Xia Yan, Xiao Wu, Wang Sheng, Fu Lin, Du Ze, Su Han, and, of course, Old Jack, arrived at the city closest to Star Dou Forest.
"Hey…should we really be going…?"
Al sighed at Xiao Wu's question, which she had repeated for over the hundredth time.
"It'll be fine, Xiao Wu. Look, Grandpa is a fairly strong Spirit King, who's just a ring away from a Spirit Emperor."
'Not to mention, I can take care of most Spirit Kings and weaker Spirit Emperors myself, with my upgraded skills.'
"Yes. And the" "blockheads and Guo Liu" "and third brother" "will be there."

"Here, keep these on you at all times.", he said as he handed a bag-shaped spirit guidance device which each held dozens of said 'pills' along with a jewel.
"This jewel has loads of Spirit Power in it, while the pills are healing pills which can heal scratches to severed limbs in seconds."
Xiao Wu took out a pill doubtfully, and sniffed it.
"Carrots?"
"Ah, I made yours Carrot flavoured."
She looked at him speechlessly, not knowing what to say.
"And what are these words on it…I don't recognise the language."
"It's a language called English. I'll teach it to you sometime.", he said with a smile as Xiao Wu observed the words in detail, though failing to make any sense of them.
The words he had etched onto each pill, spending much time of the past three months on them, were,

Five {Life} scribes and 5 scribes to heal any sort of damage that could befall them.
And Al doubted the {Resurrect} scribe would work, considering he didn't have a Spirit Skill related to the Soul, but he assumed it would work as long as the consumer hadn't been dead for too long, so that the Soul hadn't left the body of the deceased yet.
"Are you sure these are pills…?"
Al rolled his eyes and decided to ignore Xiao Wu's doubts as he looked around.
{Where are you guys?}
{We're close, brother Al.} Guo Liu replied, {We're already in the city. You said you're at the city gate, right?}
{Yes.}
Just as Al cut the telepathic connection, Old Jack exclaimed.
"Ah! There they are!"
His old eyes narrowed at the sight of the veiled woman standing next to the five boys.
"A titled douluo…", he whispered, making those present pause as Xiao Wu froze in shock.
"Wha…a…"
She shivered subconsciously as Al scratched his hair and sighed.
'Yup, things just got a whole lot more exciting.'

"Brother Al!"
""Boss!""
The five boys, who all looked like they were in their early to late teens already, especially the bulky looking Meng brothers led by the bulkiest Meng Yi and Meng Er, ran towards Al the moment they spotted him.
"Hey guys."
Al waved his hand, before stretching his arms wide, and the group of six took a group hug as they chuckled.
"Brother Al! It's been so long since I saw you…"
"Boss, how are you?"
"Hehe, Boss, you got your Soul Ring didn't you? You should show it to me sometime."
"Wow, Boss, did your body get stronger again? It feels like you're made of metal!"
"…"
The six, who hadn't met for over three months, slipped into their own world as the Xia twins and Xia Wuting sighed helplessly.
"They have always been close, all of us, actually.", Xia Wuting explained as she saw the confused and surprised expressions of those not knowing their relationship, "And it's pretty much the first time they've been separated for more than half a day."
"Oh? Boss, who's this little girl?"
Just then, Meng Si noticed Ai who was looking at everyone present curiously from her position atop Al's shoulders.
"Ai, would you like to introduce yourself?"
"Hai!", she responded cheerfully, "Hello everyone! My name is Ai! I am papa's daughter! Nice to meesh you!"
She blinked as she covered her mouth.
"Ah, I bit my tongue."
"…"
"So cute!"
All those present felt an arrow pierce their heart as they watched the adorable little girl blush in embarrassment.
"It's no problem at all, Ai. I'm sure nobody minds."
Al smiled as he rubbed her head, making her mewl in bliss.
'…are my head pats really that comfortable?'
((I should think so. I'll be reserving that hand for a couple days after I get a body.))
Al nonchalantly nodded to Ella's words as he looked at the veiled woman who had only glanced at Xiao Wu disinterestedly, her eyes fixed on Ai's figure since the moment she saw her.
'…pretty sure I know who that is…'
Well, to be honest, the three words 'Woman', 'Titled Douluo', and 'Spirit Hall' would only make one person come to the mind of anyone who had foreknowledge of the world of Soul Land.
'Hmm…I don't think Grandpa can take her head-on…but he should be able to delay for enough time for me to take all those present into Eden…'
Of course, that's considering she even decides to become hostile. And something told Al he didn't have to worry about that.
'Oh well, since our safety's technically guaranteed, not to mention, if push comes to shove, I can simply whisk her away to an unknown corner of Eden where nothing but the Void exists and let it erase her whole, let's just ignore her presence for now.'
Al didn't forget Ella's warning about exploring beyond the region she had used and is still using enormous quantities of his infinite Spirit Power to maintain and stabilise in his second Spirit, the [Garden of Eden].
According to her, beyond the region where she forcefully 'devoured' the Douluo Continent's and the world of Soul Land's Space and Time and maintained it using large quantities of energy, the 'Empty Void of Nothingness' that exists, yet doesn't at the same time, a chaotic paradox in itself, would instantaneously erase anyone and anything that doesn't possess the power of the Void themselves.
Obviously, Al had no idea what that all meant. He did understand one thing though.
Going beyond the horizon into the infinite darkness was suicide. And if he ever comes across an especially powerful enemy who was careless enough to let him touch them, they get a one-way ticket to non-existence.
And unlike him, who had the all-powerful System to reincarnate him in another world for a fresh start (with his skills still present, of course) should he die, they wouldn't be getting a second chance, considering their everything, their body, mind, soul, spirit, Will, blah blah blah, will be erased instantly.
"Right, guys, meet your new brothers. Although you've talked, you've never met them, have you?"
Al smiled as he shook off his unneeded thoughts, and instead introduced the kids to each other.
Ah? What's that? You say he's a kid too?
