Angelica was concerned, not only by the fact that her daughter has been rejecting her calls for the past few days - her feeble attempt to explain herself - plus the cryptic message Daniel.
They were supposed to meet up, to talk about what happened between them nights ago. Angelica wanted to explain to Daniel that the both of them weren't going to work out. As much as she was an adult that had the right to do whatever she wanted and live with the consequences, she loved Adele more. And if her daughter said the relationship was not okay, so be it.
