Capítulo 37: Chapter 37: The Past Part 1

It has been two and a half years since anything significant has happened in the Land of Demons. Boruto has been carrying out his duties, and his clone, who has been acting as Raido, has been performing his job exceptionally well. The pay has been fantastic for him in the Land of Demons, and he even received bonus money when he took longer shifts.

One day, Raido approached Ukiyo and asked if he could take some time off. "For how long?" Ukiyo inquired. "It depends," Raido replied.

"It will be an unpaid leave if you proceed with this vacation as you don't know how long you will be gone," Ukiyo said.

"Sure, I will be taking an unpaid leave," Raido said.

"Is it important that you need to take unpaid leave?" Ukiyo asked.

"Yes," Raido nodded.

"Go ahead, but remember to come back quickly as you are one of the best guards," Ukiyo said.

"Understood, Ukiyo-san," Raido said as he left the building. As soon as he was out of people's sight, he dispersed into a cloud of smoke.

Boruto stood on the deck of the ship, gazing out at the vast expanse of the sea with a smile on his face. However, his thoughts soon turned to his family, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of homesickness. "I kinda miss my family," he said to himself.

In an attempt to calm himself, Boruto closed his eyes, but instead of finding peace, he saw a vision of his previous self smirking at him in the darkness. He let out a sigh and muttered, "Let's forget it with more meditation."

He sat down on the floor, emptied his mind, and began to circulate his Chakra. In his jacket pocket, Ryushin, his trusty companion, was sleeping soundly.

After two days, the ship finally arrived at the Land of Wind. The dock was closer to Roran, and Boruto only needed to walk there. "Finally, I have arrived in this land," he said, stretching his arms. Before continuing his journey, he decided to find some food and water. He also purchased a cloak to cover his face to prevent sand from entering his eyes and to avoid being recognized.

Boruto continued his journey to Roran, but it took him a while as he was ambushed by rogue ninjas and bandits separately. However, Boruto was able to use his Sharingan to take them down and steal their valuable items.

As he arrived at an abandoned city, he looked up and saw the ruins of what was once a futuristic city. He cautiously entered the building, making sure to check for any warning seals that could alert the Leaf Village.

Using his Sharingan, he found a few warning seals and dispelled them using his Fuinjutsu skills. He then proceeded to the room where he could activate the Dragon Veins.

Ryushin popped his head out of Boruto's cloak and said, "Kyu~ (This place feels like home.)"

"Your home felt like this?" Boruto asked.

"Kyu~ (Hmm, it's similar,)" Ryushin replied.

Boruto jumped onto the platform, which was the only one left, and saw the seal created by Minato. "Looks like I have to study the seal before accidentally destroying the Dragon Vein," Boruto sighed as he created numerous clones on the platform. "You guys know what to do, right?"

"Yeah," the clones replied.

"The other clones should create a seal around the building to hide its Chakra signature to avoid any disturbance during our mission," Boruto instructed.

The clones quickly got to work, creating a seal around the building to mask its Chakra signature. Boruto and his other clones then focused on studying the seal created by Minato, carefully analyzing every detail to avoid any mistakes.

Creating the seal to conceal the Chakra disturbance took about three days, and studying Minato's seal took an arduous three months. The complexity of the seal was far beyond anything Boruto had encountered before, and it proved to be a grueling task for him.

Exhaustion seeped into his bones as he delved deeper into the intricacies of the seal. "This is too exhausting," Boruto admitted, his voice echoing in the silent space.

Suddenly, one of his clones appeared, carrying a bag filled with food and water. "Where did you get this?" Boruto asked, his eyes widening in surprise.

"I stole it from the bandits," the clone replied nonchalantly before dispersing into thin air.

"Eh," Boruto muttered, his surprise quickly replaced by hunger. He started eating and drinking, replenishing his energy for the challenging task that still lay ahead.

After a much-needed rest, Boruto created four more clones to assist him in disabling the seal. Each of them held the kunai and channeled their chakra into it. A glowing pentagram seal appeared on the ground, but it soon dissipated as Boruto successfully disabled it.

"Now, I just need to open the Dragon Vein and send myself to the past. I need that Jutsu," Boruto said, opening a mechanism that resembled an eye. As he did so, a surge of Chakra erupted from beneath.

A smile spread across Boruto's face as he watched the purple Chakra surge out from the depths. Thanks to the seal he had created, the surging Chakra was effectively concealed.

Boruto closed his eyes as the intense Chakra engulfed his entire body. It was a sensation unlike any he had ever felt before, both exhilarating and terrifying.

When he opened his eyes again, he noticed a change in his surroundings. A bridge now connected to the middle platform. A smile of accomplishment adorned his face as he realized he had successfully travelled back in time. He was now in the past.

"Looks like we managed to go back in time. Hell yeah," Boruto said, a broad smile on his face. Ryushin merely smiled, happy to see Boruto's joy.

Upon leaving the tower, Boruto made his way to the nearest town to confirm the date. His heart skipped a beat when he realized he was in the year when Naruto was still a child Genin.

"Man, you good?" the man he had asked looked at him with concern.

"I'm fine and thank you for the information," Boruto replied, walking away. Under his breath, he muttered, "Shit, I'm a little bit far away in time."

But he quickly formulated a plan. 'I guess I can head to Sky Village and wait until that old man puts his Jutsu in place, and then I can just steal it from him,' he thought.

His next step was to find a boat to the Land of Demons, as it was closer and he could easily walk there. However, the ship owners refused to take him, fearing they would be hijacked by the Mist Shinobi.

After several rejections, Boruto decided to walk to the Land of Lightning, where he could catch a boat to the Land of the Sky. "Walking it is," he said, determination in his voice.

He was cautious, knowing that Akatsuki was still active. However, with his Susano'o, he felt confident that he could handle any threat. And so, he began his journey to the Land of the Sky.

As he trudged along, his thoughts turned to his plans. 'Hmm, if I'm correct, the old man's movie came first, then Roran. So, I have time to push my body to its limits,' Boruto thought, a smile playing on his lips. 'I have about two more years before Naruto Shippuden. I'm going to take full advantage of this.'

The scorching sun blazed overhead, casting a harsh light on the desert landscape. Boruto was drenched in sweat, the heat sapping his energy with every step he took.

"Shit, this place is hot as hell," he muttered under his breath, a grimace on his face. But despite the discomfort, he kept on walking, his determination unwavering. He knew that he had a mission to accomplish, and no amount of heat was going to stop him from reaching his goal.
