Capítulo 215: Cheating

As planned, Esme stayed at the palace with Marcus and Einar. The warlock came to and from the place, his business and other work still needing to be attended to. As for the two werewolves, they were bored; neither one of them had sat idle before. It had only been two days.

With Einar at the Hub, Esme and Marcus decided to train, sparring one another, which mostly always ended with Esme winning. Though, she was called out for cheating whenever she unknowingly used her shadow powers. The she-wolf found herself using them right when Marcus was about to win; her body would suddenly disintegrate into mist and reform behind him, her knife against his neck. Most of the time, she could not recall using them or how she used them, just that she would be exhausted more so than usual after training. 

"You know." Esme panted beside Marcus, the sweaty pair sprawled out on the beach, the sand sticking to their backs. "It's not really cheating."
