***ADDIE'S POV***

"Addie?" Nolan whispered my name the moment we were alone in the room. He'd sat me on the bed, making it easier for me to rest with my back against the pillows. When I looked at him, he didn't seem as angry as I thought he would be. What was going through his head right now?

"Yes?" My voice was weak because I thought he was going to reprimand me. I expected it, so I wasn't going to flinch away, but I still wasn't looking forward to it.

"Are you alright?" He asked me, shocking me, as he showed me tender care rather than anger. "I know you, and I know this evening had to have taken its toll on you. How are you doing after all of that?"

"I am fine." I said, tilting my head to the side, and trying to figure out why he wasn't mad at me. "Nolan? Aren't I in trouble for what I did?"
