***ADDIE'S POV***

I didn't stop running until I slid onto the ground between Callum and Nolan. They were lying side by side on the ground, and I could tell they were both in pain. Healers were attending to them, but they weren't as effective as I would have liked them to be.

"What are their injuries? How are they?" I demanded of the two healers, who looked slightly annoyed to be interrupted, but couldn't ignore me because I was the princess.

"Magus Nolan is in far worse conditions. A support beam from the carriage pierced through his back and just narrowly avoided his heart. He is in immense pain, and I am not sure I can heal wounds as grave as these." The healer said as he kept his eyes focused on Nolan.
