Capítulo 71: Emotions Flaring

I had been listening to the two of them talk near the window. Not the entire conversation, but parts of it. And then still, only the parts that were loud enough for me to hear.

I had been crying during most of the conversation, so I didn't know what had been said. However, I heard the tail end of what the two of them were saying.

"No, you fool!" Dominic had snapped at Isaiah. "That will only upset the girl. I plan to only tell her about the training and being stuck here for the duration of the cold season. I want her to get used to being here with me and the others before we even let her off the property. I don't know when we will be able to allow her to accompany us to another location, but it will be a long time, that is for certain."
