"A fucking human?" Tamliz spat the words out at me as if she were disgusted by what she had heard. "Ya had me chasin afta and holding onto a fucking human? What the hell is da matter wiff you Boberre? Yoo just ain't right."

"Fine, I'm not right. And I promise I won't bring her out like this again. Just let us go and I will take her home." Boberre reached toward me now that Francis was no longer holding onto him.

"Nah, I think Imma gunna make her pay. This little bitch had me chasin her. Plus, I ain't seen a human this close before. I need ta see what she is made of."

At that, Tamliz fisted the fabric at the back of my cloak and pulled hard. She ripped the cloth from me with such force that it nearly made me fall over. I barely managed to catch myself. Actually, it had been Boberre who saved me by rushing forward and putting his hand against my back.
