For an entire evening, Zi Han was such a hot mess that he didn't even sleep. At first, he typed in a message to Yi Chen asking him about that night.But after typing, deleting and retyping he still couldn't send the message in the end.

Because the chat interface allowed one to see when the person was typing a message, Yi Chen on the other end saw everything but he assumed Zi Han was upset about the whole team list thing.

He couldn't get his father to let this go so now he had no idea what to say to him. Thus he waited and waited but after an hour of on and off typing, Zi Han went offline.

Yi Chen's heart felt heavy so he also started typing his own message. Just like Zi Han, he couldn't figure out what to say. From the day he chose to be with Zi Han he wanted to protect him wholly but the one time he was meant to prove himself he failed and now Zi Han was forced to work under Evan.
