A moment later, Karena interrupted the flow of magical energy, causing the multicolored light produced by the crystal coin to dim little by little, until it was completely extinguished. As the light faded, the atmosphere in the tavern became lighter until it returned to its original calm as if nothing had happened.

Shortly after the light faded, Marcus, who was leaning against the marble bar, tried to keep himself on his seat so as not to fall to the floor. The sudden surge of energy produced by the crystal coin had left him somewhat disoriented and, despite his infinite stamina, he felt a bit exhausted.

When he finally felt a little better, Marcus looked up and tried to use [Analysis] on the coin. Unfortunately, before he could use his skill Karena made a slight movement with her right wrist, and the coin transformed into a set of blurry shadows, disappearing into thin air.
