One particular building of Japan was shaking violently. Large pieces of concrete and rubble were falling non-stop, spreading like a curtain of dust. It was obvious that there was a war inside, but the outside world was affected by it and it showed how fierce the war inside was.
The building shook violently, bits of rubble mixed with dust fell to the ground. A massive explosion brought with it an ear-piercing shock wave.
The street trembled, the windows burst from the shock waves, and the streetlights bent. Pipelines underground were bursting repeatedly, revealing a scene of destruction.
Fortunately, there were no people around, so there were no casualties or injuries.
Bam!
A loud noise was heard, the whole building trembled. A cry of pain echoed, followed by another roar filled with martial desire. The whole building was shaking violently. Pieces of rubble and dust were constantly falling.
Bam! Bam! BAM! BAM! BAM!
The knocks got louder and louder. The building was shaking violently, threatening to collapse.
"Come here!" A harsh, wild female voice was heard. Her voice was like thunder, her shout echoing throughout the city like the roar of a wild tiger.
Bang!
The whole street trembled, beginning with the building. People panicked, shouts were heard, and various pro-heroes and cops were trying to quell the chaos.
This was the exterior of the building, and the interior was no different.
The walls had collapsed, and the corridor was filled with holes of various depths. Most of the corridor was covered with rubble and concrete, the floor was smashed, lamps and cables hanging from the ceiling. There were large holes in the walls.
"I am real!!!!" A crooked voice filled with frenzy echoed throughout the entire building. A man in a scientist's apron and thick glasses was running for his life and shouting behind him as tears and snot spilled from his face.
"We'll find out when I kick you!" Behind him was a chocolate-skinned bunny woman chasing the scientist. She had a wild expression on her face, a smile that expressed her pleasure in battle, giving her a primal charm as her hair flowed in the wind.
The man turned around and continued running. His life and goals were running for him. If he stopped, he would be kicked by this woman and in great pain. Bitterness aside, all the goals he had ever desired and lived for would be destroyed by that kick.
This was a big laboratory. The floor and ceiling contained large pipes and cables. The walls and 3/1 of the room were filled with fluid-filled tubes containing various Nomu's. In the center of the room was a huge monitor.
"Damn Dabi, you traitor…" He cupped under his eyes and tugged at his flesh until it exposed his red flesh. Mucus and tears continued to flow. He continued to run at full speed.
This was L.O.V's laboratory for future purposes. Most of the Nomu were produced here and a great deal of research was going on for a specific future purpose.
This man, Kyudai Garaki, was the scientist who led the research. The Nomu and High Nomu were produced by him and produced here.
At least until recently, that was true, but a few days ago everything had changed.
Dabi was caught four months ago and has been regularly giving L.O.V's information to the heroes ever since. Initially, this was not a problem for their organization. The biggest piece of information he gave was a few insignificant rallying bases.
They had lost a few tens of villains as a result, but it was an ingestible loss. When they thought of Dabi's loyalty to them and similar purposes, their Leader had ignored it.
However, the information he gave the other day caused the entire organization to be shaken.
Dabi had given the Nomu's production location and the location of this lab where secret research was being conducted. Kyudai Garaki kind of revealed the location of one of the key figures behind L.O.V, as he almost spent his life here.
This was a big deal, if Kyudai was caught, L.O.V's plans would be hit hard and Nomu production would come to a complete halt. Moreover, important research for the future would fall into the water.
"I can't let this happen... Shigaraki... I have to live for Shigaraki!!!" He tripped and started to fall to the ground. Putting his hands on the ground, he lifted himself and kept running forward while waving his hands for balance.
Once he regained his balance, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a remote. As long as he pressed a certain button on the remote, he would be able to escape from here.
He lifted his gaze slightly, only to see a foot that was about to hit him in the face. The force of the kick was strong enough to create small shock waves where it passed and push the wind.
His pupils were shaken. Panic took over his body, his lungs working like an engine. He could feel his blood flow accelerating and his reaction speed increasing, and his body was raging with adrenaline to get rid of it, but even that wasn't enough for him to escape his current state.
Giiihhhhhh!!
There was a raspy roar, like rubbing a fork against a plate. The next second, a bodyless Nomu head got in the way of Rumi's kick and tried to block the attack.
Considering the skull's hardness and the materials used in its construction, it should have been able to deflect this attack. But how could Rumi's attack, who was training with Blake and constantly improving his body, be so weak?
CRACK!
There was a cracking and popping sound. The metallic floor was covered with a hideous liquid. What remained of the head, which tried to prevent Rumi's kick, was scattered brain fragments and cerebral fluid.
"MOCHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" Kyudai's heartbreaking shout echoed throughout the lab. Tears were pouring out of her eyes like water from a glass.
He turned his gaze to Rumi. He pressed the button while glaring at her as if he wanted to eat her alive. There was a slight cracking sound from the remote.
'Kill him! Avenge your brother!"
CRASH CRASH CRASH!
Several of the tubes containing several High Nomus were violently broken. Rumi glanced slightly to the side, her eyes widened. She threw herself back as she kicked forward.
However, it was too late. Her head was caught by a large black hand and dragged her back. Another Nomu raised his hand to punch her chest. Another raised his hand, displaced by a mouth, in an attempt to bite her.
Bang!
Rumi's attack was not in vain. With two mouths instead of hands, Nomu's hands were shattered by his attack.
"My precious High Ends, KİLL HERR!!!!!"
BAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!
Holding Rumi's head, Nomu narrowed her eyes slightly. She focused all the strength in her body on her arm and threw Rumi with all her might. The shock wave was heard, Rumi's body violently slammed against the wall with dozens of wires.
The entire laboratory trembled violently. The shock wave caused the dust clouds to disperse. The wall Rumi hit was turned into dust with an explosion.
''????'' The relatively female-like Nomu holding Rumi's head. After staring at the wall Rumi had hit for a while, she turned her gaze to her hand.
Five of her fingers were severed and half of her hand was cut into pieces, showing her bone. The same was true for the other Nomu next to her. Although they all attacked Rumi without reacting, Rumi was able to counterattack in a tenth of a second and seriously injure them.
Fortunately, their regeneration was very strong. Their hands and severed limbs were healed the next second.
''He...ro...''
''Strong...''
''It's been a long time...''
They started talking to each other in a senseless way. Even though each of their gazes was contorted with madness, they carried a tiny bit of logic within them. Their gaze wandered the lab, one of them spoke.
''Let's go crazy! Kill them!"
"Mirko!" A hero walked through the hole in the wall and called out to Rumi. However, it was the High-End Nomu, who was relatively large among the Nomu, who greeted him.
Kyudai took one last look at his Nomu and Rumi before turning around and leaving. A crazy smile appeared on his face. With that, this woman should have died. His precious Mocha had been avenged.
He threw himself into a chair in the room. He pulled the arm of the chair up. The chair trembled slightly, the wall behind it opened, pulling Kyudai in and she disappeared from the room.
The room fell silent as Kyudai left. The High-End Nomus watched for a while where Rumi had crashed. They couldn't see what condition Rumi was in because the dust-covered that area. But they thought he was dead, or at least unable to move.
''Are you running? You old fart…" A voice came from behind the dust cloud. It contained brutality and excitement that bordered on sound. It was as if the person was having a hard time holding back.
Swish!
A hand parted the cloud of dust and cupped the wall. The cloud of dust split open. It revealed what was behind it.
The blood dripping from Rumi's head had dyed her face red. She looked at the Nomu with a toothy grin, then back at Keigo. Her brows were furrowed, her eyes burning with battle desire. Her ears were pricked.
"Things are getting worse. Come on, let's finish the warm-up here." She shook her head, her bloody and dusty white hair swaying. She had called a fight that could be fatal to others "warm-up", even her demeanor indicated that she thought so.
Tak! Tak! Tak! Tak! Click! Bap!
Rumi's ears twitched. Rabbit's ears turned to the left. After a few seconds of listening to the voices, she placed her hands on her sides and bent her body forward.
''Yer just clack-clack-clacking away back there, huh?'' One eye was covered in hair and blood, yet her bright smile didn't fade for a second. Her gaze, growing more and more ferocious, turned to the direction she heard the voices.
"How can she still move?" One of the Nomu, The female one, asked in surprise. She knew how much force she was exerting while throwing Rumi. She wasn't supposed to be able to move.
Rumi did not answer Nomu. After staring at the doctor's area for a while, she whispered.
"One, no, two jumps is enough…" She lifted her muscular, well-developed leg, her fingertips pointing forward. The Nomu was prepared for any possible attack.
However, Rumi did not attack. She threw her foot back and, in a quick turn, stepped on one of the taut cables that were still intact. The cable stretched to its limit, leaping forward as it threatened to snap.
Faster than their reaction time, she passed the Nomu. Because of her speed, the Nomu was still staring at his previous location.
She placed his hands on the ground, quickly bowed her body, and her fingertips touched the ground.
CRAKCLE! BAM!
The ground was broken, a large crater appeared with a small shock wave. Rumi glided forward like an arrow and headed for the hole Kyudai had entered.
Fvipp!!
The sound of something pushing through the air filled Rumi's ears. His ears twitched slightly and he turned in the direction the attack had come from.
"You're forgetting something..." The High-End Nomu, who was relatively tall among the Nomu, spoke absently. He had no eyelids and was attacking Rumi with the 'thing' that had his hair back in place.
Rumi's hand moved quickly and grabbed the tentacle-like thing that was attacking her. Her lips curved upward. Her muscles tightened, veins appeared on her arms. She pulled the tentacle violently.
"I don't give a fuck what you say." She pulled the tentacle from the top of her head and pinned it to the ground. No matter how hard Nomu tried to resist, she failed and was dragged by Rumi like a kite with a broken string.
Rumi slammed Nomu to the ground. The entire metal floor was lifted and shattered like a carpet. With an explosion, a large crater appeared.
Rumi landed on the ground, right on Nomu's face. She stepped on Nomu's face with both feet and bent her body slightly.
"You... Ghiahhhh... Dieeee..." Nomu was trying to say something, but Rumi didn't want to listen to him. She wiggled her foot slightly and covered Nomu's mouth.
"You're so noisy" She bent her body a little more and jumped.
Rumi Usagiyama, the #5 pro-hero, has a rabbit Quirk. Her Quirk lets her do everything a rabbit can do, even better. And one of the best things a rabbit could do was 'jump'.
Rabbits' leg muscles would be particularly strong. That way, they can jump well, grasp the ground better, and unleash more power. Since Rumi could do better than that, the power her kick could unleash was much greater.
Moreover, she had constantly trained with Blake to unleash more power with her kicks. The power of one of Rumi's kicks had reached a level that even All Might would not want to take.
And now the helpless Nomu was facing such a powerful kick. Conclusion...
Splash!!
Brain fluid and blood covered the entire floor. Nomu's arms were up in the air, continuing his pre-dead struggles. His death was so sudden that the body continued to do what it was doing before.
Rumi leaped forward. Her hair was flowing back, making it look like a rippling white river. Rumi shrunk her body as much as possible to reduce friction. Blood was pouring continuously from her open wound, spreading into the air.
The air was forcibly pushed by Rumi. She had a wild smile on her face. Putting aside her fights with Blake, it had been a long time since she'd fought like this
Rumi's lips trembled with sadness before returning to the wild smile of old. Thinking about the man she loved and his absence for four months almost destroyed her desire to fight.
However, she did not allow it. She had been warned many times by Blake to never lose her clarity and distraction in a battle. She had learned that even with absolute superiority, a single contempt or distraction could turn the tables.
She entered the dark corridor. Kyudai was typing on the computer keyboard at the end of the hall in front of a tube filled with strange liquids. After each keystroke, the fluid-filled tubes were disconnected.
She intended to abduct the liquids tubes.
"As if I'd let that happen!" Her roar was heard throughout the room. Kyudai turned around, her face wrinkled with fear. She cried out as tears, mucus, and drool poured out.
''KUROGİRİ, HELP!!!''
As Rumi took up a position to kick, two portals appeared in the air. The position of one of them was under her left foot, which she was kicking, while the other was on her left arm. Rumi was able to take her foot off just in time, but the same couldn't be said for her arm.
KRAK! KRNCHHHHH!!
There was a shrill cracking sound. Rumi's expression did not change, but she could feel a wave of pain starting from her arm and spreading throughout her body. Her arm, remaining inside the portal, was forcibly bent, broken, and splintered.
Splash!!
She forcibly withdrew her arm. Leaving it that way was the same as leaving oneself to the initiative of the enemy. Her arm was torn off at the elbow as blood poured uncontrollably from her arm.
Rumi was covered with scorching pain, but the expression on her face did not change. On the contrary, her expression became more ferocious, staring at Kyudai as if she wanted to swallow her whole.
Another purple-black portal appeared and a High Nomu's figure emerged from it.
Luna Arc!
However, before High Nomu could appear, Rumi forcibly turned her body and with a foot-ax blow, she struck Nomu's exposed brain.
BAM!
Nomu's brain exploded and shattered into pieces. The bright light in Nomu's insanely glowing eyes instantly dissipated, leaving the black pupils gone, leaving the white iris. He tried to use his Quirk before he died, but couldn't keep up with Rumi's reaction speed.
Rumi stepped on Nomu's head and threw herself to the ground. Before she landed, she touched the ground with her good hand and threw herself forward.
Vhop! Vhop!
Two small portals were exposed, the air twisting inward in the area of the portal. This attack was the same as the one that cut off Rumi's arm.
Rumi continued to leap forward, being careful to stay close to the ground. Her feet were constantly pushing the ground, making her advance tens of meters at a time. In just two jumps, she reached in front of Kyudai and kicked him.
''HELPPPPPPPPPP!!'' Kyudai stepped back with a pitiful cry. The floor covered with various liquids caused him to slip and fall to the ground. In this way, he was able to dodge the fierce attack.
WHOP!!
He went over the kick. It didn't hit anything, but the wind from the kick cracked computer screens and shattered the control panel.
"KUROGIRIII!!" Kyudai shouted helplessly once again. On the floor covered with various liquids, he was using his hands to pull himself back, causing his clothes to become covered with liquids. His heart was beating like a motor, trying to find a way out of here.
"Preparations are complete."
Rumi turned her body to meet the attack. She wondered why the Nomu hadn't attacked in a while. There had to be 3 more High-End Nomus besides the Nomu that had to attack her, killed her and other heroes were fighting.
However, she had not faced any attack for a while.
Rumi cast aside her thoughts and looked at the coming attack. And at that moment her question was answered.
All the Nomu who fought, and many more, those who had just chased her or fought other heroes, were each falling through the black-violet portal in the ceiling. They were stepping on each other, pushing themselves to take a step forward holding the others or desperately trying to hold the air and reach Rumi.
A lot of Nomu and High Nomu falling from the sky like raindrops, Rumi waiting to be crushed under them with Nomu bodies, was a sight to behold, albeit a bad one.
Rumi's eyes widened, a feeling of death that he had never witnessed before flooded his entire body. All the hairs on Rumi's body rose.
He lifted his feet as if he wanted to kick the sky. Time slowed for him, he could see the Nomu slowly falling from the sky.
"Luna…" This was the first time he would use his new move. He developed this move-in Blake's absence and had never shown it to anyone before. He wanted to use it to surprise her when Blake arrived.
But in the life-death moment, she could not standstill.
The new movement was one he was proud of, and perhaps he would never be able to develop a movement like this again in his lifetime. So he decided to give it a good name.
Movements were not as simple as one might think. A movement, or colloquially the Super Move, is proof of a greater realization of one's strength. So unlike the lower-ranked pro-heroes, who see their every move as a super move and give it a name, those at the top would carefully consider every super move.
Nejire's "Crush the Untouchable" fell into this category.
Not every Super Move was the same. The Copy was divided into SuperMove and Original-Advanced SuperMove. [EN: This is from me. There is no such thing in MHA.]
The Copy Super move was called modified versions of the same technique. The main character's "Smash" super moves could enter here.
Original, on the other hand, was called "Full Cowl", something completely different and original from Smash and its predecessors, and Rumi's current move would fall under this category.
"Sky Push!''
She gave all her strength to her legs. Veins appeared on her well-developed, muscular legs, and her skin tensed as if she were about to perform something big.
Her fingers gripped the air, slightly breaking her legs, thinking of the sky as a stepping stone. She kicked the sky with all her might, which she grasped with strength from her waist.
BAM!
A heavy voice echoed in the sky as Rumi shoved her legs. The most similar to this sound was the sound made when the speed of sound was exceeded.
A great stream of air rushed to the ground from the area where her foots had pushed. The sky that Rumi was pushing with her legs couldn't be seen, nothing to indicate that anything was going on except the huge airflow that came out when she pushed.
A rectangular wave of air was pushed through the air. Rumi seemed to have pushed something. Air currents were rising steadily, heading for the Nomu's falling from the ceiling.
"Dangerous!" A rushed voice came from behind the portal. The black-violet portal instantly closed, the person on the other side of the portal not in a position to care about the Nomu's.
Bam!
Nomu's hit the invisible rectangular air stream. Each was sent back before they had a chance to resist. Their bodies and skins were crushed and shredded as if they had been hit by a gigantic mountain.
The airflow suddenly widened. It covered the entire laboratory ceiling.
CRASH!!
The next second, the ceiling of the building was as large as a mansion and many stories high, and the few floors above it were ripped up and blasted into the air without any resistance. The deep blue sky and the light of the sun covered the darkness, the atmosphere getting brighter.
GİYAHHHHHH!!
All the Nomu's screamed in pain for the last time before they died, their bodies constantly being torn apart by the airflow, making it impossible to regenerate. They only lasted a few seconds before they were disintegrated into flesh and blood.
But the attack did not stop there. It continued to the sky. The clouds were pierced by the rectangular-shaped invisible attack, forming a rectangular hole.
It took several long minutes for the attack to dissipate. There was no resplendent and loud explosion. It mingled with the wind before disappearing silently.
All of Rumi's limbs on the ground were shaking. She fell to the ground, wanting to stay still, but her limbs were twitching. Her leg kicked weakly against her will, her other leg trembled slightly, the remaining left arm twitched slightly. She had lost control of her limbs and could not feel any of them.
Especially legs. It was as if they were not there, there was a great void. If she hadn't seen that her legs were still in place, she would have worried that both of her legs had been amputated.
She didn't bother to stand up or chase after Kyudai. She couldn't even muster an ounce of strength, as if all the strength in her body had been pulled with a tap. She had no choice but to stand here and wait for the others to arrive.
She didn't even have the strength to avert her eyes, but as far as she could see, the huge tube of liquid was gone, but Kyudai lay unconscious on one side.
Presumably, the owner of the portals was so focused on getting the fluid-filled vials that he didn't have time to get the professor. Now speaking of that, the tube containing the few Nomus in the room wasn't there.
"Hah…" Rumi took a deep breath. She forced herself to look at her severed arm, then looked at her other limbs.
She wasn't well at all, luckily Blake wasn't here. It was the first time she was glad to he wasn't here, as she hadn't shown him this pathetic condition.
Even though she knew that Blake would lift her off the ground, help her without disappointment, and help her become stronger, she still didn't want her to see her current embarrassing situation.
"I'll have to tell him about this situation and why I have a prosthetic arm…" Rumi sighed once again. She knew Blake would go crazy when he saw her current situation, and with an arm gone, he'd get her revenge.
There were many Quirks in this world. While some of them contained great healing power, as Recovery Girl had, there was no healing Quirk in this world that could restore a severed limb.
Well, what if she doesn't have an arm? When she got better, she would continue to fight and live with Blake. She knew that Blake wouldn't put her aside just because she didn't have one arm. Except for the numbness in her feet, she wasn't worried about anything.
"This is a bit of a nuisance…" She stuck out her tongue and licked the blood from the corner of her lip. The chilling numbness in her feet was far more terrifying than the loss of strength. She was worried that she might lose her ability to walk.
She forced herself to calm down again. Now was not the time to think about that. She should not panic and try to recover as best she could when the doctors arrived. Then she had to consider how to explain the situation to Blake.
"Rumi-nee-chan!" As Rumi was lost in thought, a flustered voice was heard. Rumi looked at the person who had come. She saw Nejire, Nemuri, Ryukyu, Momo, and a few heroes coming towards her. Four girls, in particular, were running towards her with clear panic and sadness on their faces.
"Ah…" She took a light breath. She didn't even have the strength to meet them. She just closed her eyes as the worried girls came towards her.
"I want Blake…" She mumbled. She wanted to hug Blake and forget all the pain in her body, the worry of numb legs and the rest, and sleep listening to his heartbeat and feeling the warmth and confidence that only he could give her.
Don't forget to give power stones if you liked it, also don't forget to "review" the series. And if you liked it, add to library.
If you see any mistakes, feel free to write. I'll fix it.
--------------------------
Chomp!
"Hm?" Rumi frowned at the pain she could feel in her body. She glanced at her navel from the corner of her eyes.
A Nomu head was biting her belly helplessly. Her gaze was contorted with murderous intent, hatred, and madness. Even her pupils were not a clear circle, black spurs protruding from several places of her pupil and spreading to her iris.
Her jaw was clenched with all her might. Her teeth pierced Rumi's flesh, causing the blood to come out. But just that much, a Nomu with nothing left of her body except some pain and blood, couldn't unleash any more power.
When Rumi took a closer look at this head, she saw that it was the only relatively female-like one among the Nomu.
"Just... Die... already..." The woman spoke with hatred between her clenched teeth. She was using all her strength to bite her to death, unfortunately, she couldn't hurt Rumi except for some bleeding and skin damage as imminent death approached her.
"Sure, when my time comes, why not..." Rumi turned her gaze to the sky and spoke with a half-smile. She didn't even have the strength to throw Nomu's head off, so she decided to talk to her until the girls arrived.
"But not right now." Nomu stopped biting, her gaze fixed on Rumi's face. She loosened her teeth slightly and spoke.
"Why…" Perhaps the approaching death had stirred the little bit of logic hiding in her mind. Her gaze was replaced with those of a woman looking at her kind stone, curiosity dominated.
"I have a long life to live with the man I love. I haven't introduced him to my family yet. I have plans to marry him. I'm going to give birth to a lot of little rabbits for him. We will give them names. We will have a small and warm home... I still have a lot of things to do. That's why I can't die now."
Nomu's jaw loosened more and more. As Rumi's eyes grew warmer and her tone more wishful, she finally stopped biting her.
"I… jealous... of you…" She could only able to say these words before she died.
The girls and heroes came to her a few seconds later. Nejire ripped Nomu's head off Rumi with a quick kick. The girls panicked and tried to stop Rumi's bleeding, while the heroes gathered the evidence that remained while they took control of the professor.
The girls closed all of Rumi's bleeding wounds as quickly as they could. To cover her right arm, which was the most severely injured, Nejire tore a large piece of her clothing and made sure to cover the wound on her arm.
Luckily, Rumi did not suffer any major injuries other than the severed arm. But the thing that scared the girls the most was the condition of Rumi's legs.
Rumi could not see, but her legs were in poor condition even though he did not have any external wounds. The cracked veins could be seen from the top of the skin, the purple skin was such a bad color that it made the girls' insides shudder. Her skin was taut like a fragile piece of glass, and everyone was careful not to put too much pressure on her.
Also, her legs looked very soft. It wasn't a compliment. They felt that if they touched it, their fingers could sink into it, and it was terrifying.
"Blake will be furious…" Nejire spoke in a low tone. All the girls, including Nemuri, who had a close relationship with Blake, nodded.
Blake would turn into a real demon when he found out about Rumi's current situation. He might not have done anything at first, after all, he couldn't leave Rumi in this situation. But once Rumi gets better, that's when L.O.V or this professor would go through a really hard time.
The girls corrected Rumi's posture, put a bag under her head, and placed a warm blanket under her without lifting her from the ground.
"Nejire, you told us there was a time when you were badly injured. Blake told you about his harem request that day...'' As Nemuri carefully cleaned Rumi's wound with a rag in hand, she looked at Nejire, who carefully lifted Rumi's legs and placed a few bags under it in a comfortable position.
Momo's hands flashed multiple lights, the next second a bunch of first aid items appeared on the floor. The girls, who had given the first aid, quickly took bandages, tincture of iodine, and various first aid supplies.
Whether at school or the hero agency, the most basic thing taught to heroes and hero candidates was how to give first aid. It was one of the key things every hero should know.
Proper first aid could save someone's life at key times. Each had learned this well and knew what they could do when the time came.
Also, Blake had taught them what to do in real first aid. The first aid they were taught was not fake, but these girls, who had not faced too many serious injuries in their lives, were pretty bad in practice and what they learned was very superficial. They ould not be compared to a doctor or field doctor.
All these teachings were working, and after just a few minutes, Rumi's entire body was covered with bandages except for her neck.
Her wounds were dressed, cleaned, sterilized, and sealed, a primitive cast (stick and cloth) was made to immobilize fractures while minor bruises were healed with the help of creams and lotions. For internal injuries, first aid was provided by injecting a few drug-filled needles.
Now all they had to do was wait for the stretchers.
"I'm saying that if we can get Blake's attention to another woman, maybe he'll forget about it," Nemuri spoke in good faith. All she did was suggest to divert Blake's attention.
Nejire, Momo, even Rumi, who couldn't move, shook their head. They tacitly rejected her at the same time.
'''Blake is not a skirt-hunter'''
"If Blake saw Rumi-san like this, he'd drop all other things in the world and focus entirely on her. Let alone a woman, he'll throw this operation out in Rumi's place that he's supposed to be in." Momo explained, shaking her head repeatedly. She had full confidence in Blake and was confident that Blake would act as she had said.
"Joining this operation instead of Rumi?" Nemuri stopped what she was doing and looked at Rumi for an answer.
' 'Oh, that's right. I like to show off with Blake, and during a conversation, I told Blake that if I was unable or unwilling to do something, they should go and he would handle all the work better than I would. They'll probably call him instead of me." Several people came in with stretchers and slowly placed Rumi on the stretcher and then headed for the exit.
Nejire and the other girls were walking beside Rumi. There was no need for them to move, as there were no Nomu left but a few villains. Heroes like Ryukyu, Endeavor, and Hawks would handle it.
"Besides…" Nejire looked into Nemuri's eyes. A mild smile bloomed on his face as she spoke in a firm but gentle tone.
"Blake wasn't acting in any way thinking with his lower body at that time. Probably because he thought of me for his actions." Nejire clasped her hands behind her back and continued as she bounced forward.
"Even though I haven't known Blake for a long time, I can understand his intentions given our closeness. Probably the reason he left me that day was because when I got out of the hospital, I lived a life without him and turned a clean slate in my life."
Nejire's gaze became more delicate, while her smile became warmer. She knew Blake, and unlike the other girls, she know Blake had a special fondness for herself, and he didn't want any great harm to come to her because of his fondness.
Reflecting on his actions that day, she was able to understand the intent behind Blake's actions.
It was just a guess, but she hit the bullseye.
"Oh, is it?" Nemuri nodded absently. Her desire to enter into a relationship with Blake was growing.
The other party was handsome, well-built, strong, understanding. Instead of taking it selfishly in the relationship, he was giving and pampering the other part as much as she wanted. Also, instead of suppressing them by using his power, he moved to bring down all the walls against him, slowly but surely suppressed them of her own accord.
Most importantly, if they encountered a problem, he did his best to solve it. He may have been the most selfish man in the world, but his selfishness was as sweet and delicious as a honeypot that would attract all women. A relatively simple woman like Nemuri had no choice but to fall into his hands.
Her heart was connecting to Blake, even more, the little walls she had built around her heart were crumbling like a sandcastle in the ocean. The things she had learned from the girls in the last few months fueled her desire to be with Blake.
Of course, she couldn't fall in love with someone just through rumors and stories. Even Nemuri was not that simple. She needed to be a real couple with Blake first, then spend time with him to develop mutual feelings.
The group continued walking to the exit among the ruins of the collapsed building. The building was in a completely dilapidated state, 3/2 of the building was dismantled after Rumi's 'Sky Push'. There were no casualties or unnecessary injuries as those floors were empty.
The corridors were scattered, filled with wounded people fighting the Nomu. People were leaning against walls, lying on the floor, or being treated as outpatients and were treated by paramedics, primarily the seriously injured.
The war had been very tough for the hero side. Nomu's, especially High-End Nomus who joined the battle at the last moment, were rivals that even All Might fought fiercely, let alone them. Comparably normal pro-heroes like them couldn't fight a High-End Nomu without making any sacrifices.
Every room, every corridor, and every space was a battlefield. Wherever there was any visible or empty space, there was either a Nomu corpse or injured people. It would have been difficult to tell the course of the war if the villain hadn't suddenly acted to take down Rumi.
'Get out of the way. We're carrying a seriously injured person.
" One of the paramedics standing in front shouted, forcibly trying to separate the crowd that had gathered outside the door.
5 minutes had passed since the last big explosion, and people slowly started to crowd around the battlefield. Some had come here to film events and upload them to the Internet before anyone else; some came to see the heroes win and to quell their fears; Others simply succumbed to their curiosity.
Each had different reasons. And it was all here after all.
The crowd realized the nature of the situation and when they saw the seriously injured Rumi, they quickly made way for her. The sea of people split in two to reveal the ambulance located in their midst.
The paramedics and girls, holding either side of the stretcher, gasped as the crowd split in two.
The reason they were so relaxed was the way the crowd looked at them, or rather the girls. Each of them looked at them with an exclusion, blame, and anger, acting as if they had slaughtered their families or committed a great crime.
People were whispering when they looked at them. Because so many people were talking at the same time, the girls couldn't understand exactly what they were saying, but they heard words such as "traitor", "Enemy of Humanity", "Agent", "Double-Sided", etc.
The girls' expressions became progressively worse. But they did nothing, swallowing the bad words and whispered insults, and kept walking.
The ambulance was a few meters ahead, and the people, however hostile they were, did not take any action to block them. So they decided to act fast.
"Wait!!" A masculine voice was heard, the crowd was forcefully pushed apart, and a large, muscular man who fit the muscle standards of this world stepped out of the crowd, blocking the girls' path.
His face was wrinkled and tears were flowing nonstop. He was staring at the girls with anger, hatred, sadness, and many more emotions with his teeth clenched. One of his hands gripped the necklace on his chest, the other is tightly clenched enough to expose his veins.
"You must be the women of that traitor. You're not going anywhere." He aligned his body to block the ambulance with the paramedics and girls and spoke in a firm tone. However, everyone in the room could hear his voice shaking slightly as if he was trying to contain a great sadness inside and harden himself.
The girls looked at each other hesitantly. The first aid they did to Rumi would have taken care of her for a few hours, but she needed to treat her injuries as soon as possible and get her to the hospital. If this did not happen, undesirable things could happen.
"Uncle…" Nejire took a few steps forward. Her civet and the light blue pro-hero outfit were lit by the sun, and with a mild smile, she placed her hand on the man's fist and spoke.
''Please get out of the way. My sister, who is very important to me, is seriously injured right now, as you can see. If you continue with this, it may even result in death."
The man took a step back. Nejire's sincere and honest words and slightly painful tone made his determined heart tremble slightly. He hesitated whether to continue.
But the cold feeling he felt in his hand caused him to regain his reason and remember what he had come for. He grits his teeth and puts his hand on Nejire's shoulder and pushed her away.
''HEY!''
''What are you doing!''
Momo and Nemuri quickly came to Nejire's side and supported her from behind. Nemuri stepped forward and grabbed her whip. Even Rumi intended to get up, worried that the man might do something at the expense of her bloody wounds.
However, the man had no intention of attacking. His only intention was for Nejire to go backward, and he had adjusted his strength accordingly.
"G-Go back. You cannot pass through here. A-At least you can't leave without seeing that woman in a coma." He pointed at Rumi with his finger. His voice was shaking, he knew he was doing something big, but the coldness he could feel in his hands and the anger in his heart kept him going.
"Why are you doing this?" Momo aligned one hand in front of her against any attack from the man. The man had been holding something specific in his chest from the beginning, and she was worried that it might be something that could hurt them.
"I-I... I'm going to make that guy lose something. That traitor must not enjoy his life while we suffer." Veins appeared on his neck as the man shouted, red veins appearing in his eyes that were burning with anger. His expression was full of anger.
However, his stance was very lonely and bitter. It looked like a fallen plane tree with its arms hanging forward. His back was bent, his posture was unsteady. A closer look showed that he had dark spots under his eyes and that the person had not slept for several days.
"Why?" This time it was Rumi who asked. She knew from her words that this man had a grudge against Blake, but the girls who were with him almost constantly didn't know anything about it.
"..." The man didn't answer the girls. He stared at them for a while, then hesitantly lowered his head. After a few quiet seconds, he spoke.
"My daughter and my wife fell into a coma after the attack of several villains here. They have not shown any signs of awakening for the past week. I-If they had been caught earlier, this would not have happened."
''If that traitor hadn't protected the villain, the cops could have caught this villain faster. So that my daughter and my wife would not fall into a coma.''
His cheeks were wet and he spoke hoarsely as if he lumped in his throat. His voice trembled slightly, slowly letting out the sadness he was holding in his heart.
His hand, which had been closed from the beginning, opened, revealing what he was hiding inside.
What the man was holding was a necklace. The necklace was flung open on both sides, leaving the small photo inside exposed. The photo featured a happy image of a man, a woman, and a 10-11-year-old girl.
The man looked longingly at the photograph. After lightly stroking the photograph with his thumb, he suddenly lifted his head and spoke.
"That's why I'm going to make that traitor lose something, for my wife and daughter-" The man shouted, but his words were cut at the last moment. People who listened to him and were able to empathize with him waited for his next words, but the man did not speak.
The girls and other people wondered why the man was suddenly silent. When they looked at him closely, they saw that the man was staring right behind the girls in disbelief and was in a state of extreme surprise.
Each of them turned their gaze behind the girls to where Rumi was. Three girls also turned to Rumi.
The atmosphere was filled with absolute tranquility. The girls took a step back as their expressions grew brighter and brighter, covered in happy amazement. It was both fear of what they saw and an instinctive reflex from its sudden appearance.
Rumi frowned slightly. She couldn't understand why the girls were so happy, why others were so confused and frightened. She couldn't see what was happening because of the bandages surrounding her head and her position, but she could tell from the reactions that nothing bad was wrong with them.
"What's going on-" Two strong arms gently wrapped around her body. She could only feel the power behind the two muscular arms by touching his skin, but while the owner of the arm was holding him, he acted prudently and diligently, as if he were touching a rare vase, and was careful not to take out a single piece of his power and squeeze it.
Her eyes widened as she felt the familiar warmth, a delicate gleam appeared in her eyes. As small tears emerged from the corners of her eyes, she inhaled deeply the scent that she had etched all over her body and which she did not want to forget and laid her head on the shoulder of the person holding her without hesitation.
"Welcome." It was one simple word, but behind it was a great relief, love, and passion.
Rumi was happy that she got what she wanted. The warm feeling that she could not regain in Blake's absence took over her heart. Her eyes were getting heavy and her voice was getting hoarse.
''I... miss you...''
Every part of her body was screaming in pain, but the sense of security and warmth that only that person could give her had taken away all her aches and pains. Her nervous mind was calmed, her tail quivering nonstop like an alarm clock, her ears caressing his entire face against her will.
She didn't have to worry anymore. She didn't need to think about the overwhelming sense of death or worry about her pain. All she had to do was hug him and sleep, he would take care of everything and when she opened her eyes again, it would all be over.
She was sure of it.
''I'm sorry. I made you wait. I didn't expect something like this to happen. Forgive me." Rumi felt a delicate kiss on her head before falling asleep. Her lips curved upward, her eyes narrowed, and she said the last few words before falling asleep.
"Such a sad tone...it doesn't suit you..." Despite saying that, she felt incomparably warm. It was as if she had been enveloped in a duvet with just the perfect warmth to be, she fell asleep as the flood of emotions carried her away.
The other party did not answer her, after swallowing deeply, he kissed Rumi's head again and spoke.
"I'm going to the hospital where Rei is staying. We'll meet there."
''OK.''
After the girls' answer, he disappeared from where he was. He effortlessly stood out from the crowd, leaving a thin white line behind him. People or girls, none of them even realized he was gone until he left.
Don't forget to give power stones if you liked it, also don't forget to "review" the series. And if you liked it, add to library.
