. . . because of that, it is not easy to identify some of us and give us names. I have not been able to find anyone like me after years of traveling through and conquering kingdoms with the Alpha King."
"So, your identity is so different and strange that you are unable to come up with a name for it?" Aurora asked with a hint of interest in who the pretty little girl was.
"You could say that," the girl replied her with a proud smile. "That makes me so unique, right? Since there is none like me."
It took Aurora a lot of effort not to scoff or roll her eyes at what the girl just told her. She looked away already feeling comfortable in the girl's presence.
"I think that is what you are. You are so unique that you and only you could be found in this world.
"I have anticipated your arrival and watched out for all the women around the king but none of them turned out to be you," the girl narrated with her eyes sparkling with the admiration and felt towards Aurora.
Aurora smiled that off unwilling to give it any further thought.
She met the girl's gaze and remembered it looked familiar like those she got to see from the werewolf her uncle killed and those water-people.
"Why do you supernaturals look at me the way you do?" Aurora finally got a chance to ask someone the question that has been bugging her for a while.
"How do we look at you?" the little girl purposefully gave her a look that clearly said she understood what Aurora was asking about.
"Like I am some goddess or something worth worshipping," Aurora replied.
As the words slipped out of her lips she found it very weird that she actually got such feeling from the look. It actually sounded absurd.
"Do you actually believe that?" the girl asked pretentiously.
"Do I? I do. I have seen it multiple times. It was hard to believe at first and about a prophecy too. What is the prophecy about?"
"You will find that out when you get to the palace. You could ask the Oracle. I was ordered not talk to you about it. I guess your real identity lies in the palace."
Aurora looked away again and stood up. She walked to the bed and carefully laid her tired body on the bed. She massaged her temple slowly.
"I could help you with the massage, if you want. I am good at it," the little girl told her as she walked to Aurora.
"Thanks," Aurora accepted her offer and closed her eyes as the soft warm fingers of the little girl began massaging her temple.
She found her thoughts swaying to the fact that perhaps one of this little girl's skill was persuasion.
That was because she got so easily persuaded by her that she had let go of her knife and let the girl massage her head that she was actually yawning due to the sleepy feeling she felt.
"I will tell you a little secret. As you sleep, you will get to see a glimpse of what your true nature looks like."
Aurora sighed as her mind drifted off into a deep sleep perhaps too deep for the short nap she intended to have before her dinner.

Aurora found herself smiling without restraint as the very handsome man before her that was very familiar.
He also wore a smile and his unique reddish brown eyes were brightened to show that his smile was very sincere.
She was walking to him happily. This was strange. She knew nothing about happiness since her family members died before her.
Ever since they died, her life felt like it was covered with a black blanket that brought darkness.
She almost could not feel her emotions because it was as though her feelings did not matter anymore.
All that mattered was her planned mission, her desire to see the Alpha king die before her eyes.
However, staring at the same man she trained all her life for over twenty years to kill was actually making her feeling butterflies.
He was making her feel pleasant emotions she has never felt before. She was engulfed in his powerful muscled arms as soon as she got to him and she got to feel a strong bond with him.
In his warm embrace, it felt like she was one with him, she knew earlier without any need for physical indication that he was happy.
The fact that he was happy actually made her happy. She closed her eyes in his embrace with her arms wrapping his waist.
It was such a beautiful moment that she could feel a strong urge to remain that way forever.
She wanted it to last forever as nothing seemed important to her with her mind and whole existence fixed on the man whose arms gave her a sense of protection and joy.
She listened to the loud fast beat of his heart as her head rested comfortably on his chest and her joy heightened (if that was actually possible with the amount of happiness she already felt) knowing that his heart was also beating fast for her just like her heart was beating for him.
His arms tightened around her making her snuggle further that there no space like and they had really become one.
"Wake up . . .," she heard a girlish voice call out to her from the midst of such moment that she was trying hard to savour.
Aurora felt very reluctant to part with this moment. She struggled to remain. She actually felt joy, she got to know what it felt to be happy and someone was telling her to wake up.
Whoever was trying to wake her up clearly wanted to steal her away. She refused to open her eyes.
She tightened her arms around the Alpha she feared and hated who seemed to protect her at this time.
"Wake up, you are only dreaming," came that same childish voice and was beginning to hate.
