Aurora raised her head and looked ahead at a hill.
She did not know why but there seemed to be a strong force pulling her towards the hill but she shook her head remembering one of the warnings of her teacher of the number of powerful creatures that lived in the land and that she should be careful not to fall into one of their traps since they were both cunning and cruel.
The last thing she wanted was to fall into the trap of some hungry monster-like inhuman.
She will wait until the Alpha king is dead and with their leader dead, they will become vulnerable making it easy for humans to claim the lands that was once theirs and there won't be anymore death caused by any inhuman.
She accelerated down the part with Helen behind her. She remembered the knife she was going to bury in the heart of the very Alpha King who made her lose her family because of the power he gave the monsters who are very much like him.
She stopped to fetch water from a flowing river. The water was so neat that she could see the bottom of the water and the many fishes swimming towards her.
She saw a creature suddenly make an appearance. She looked up and she noticed something with the place she stood that her thirst and hunger for vengeance did not let her see.
The bank of the river was covered by neat green healthy growing grasses with a lot of trees around. She could see the other bank from where she stood and it looked a lot more different. She has never seen blue grasses.
The other side was very different from the side she stood considering that not only the grasses had different colors but the trees too had different colors from what she has seen all her life.
She saw purple, she saw gold, and she saw a lot more that she could not shut her mouth which was now agape as she stared around.
The water was very deep but she could clearly see the very colorful pebbles lying on it bottom had more than the fishes swimming towards her.
The map clearly stated in the notes that the waters flowed in the river was near and clear that was why she decided to fetch some water and coupled with the thirst she felt for water, but what welcomed her was definitely not what she expected.
She saw very little beings swimming towards her. They were not fishes neither were they humans. They had very brightly colored skin that shone despite the fact that they were in water.
They were so little like babies with long hair. They came in different appearances. Some had tails of fishes, some had human feet.
For the first time in her life, she felt fear. She was not scared of them but she was scared of what will happen when she turns to leave. She took shaky steps away from the bank of the river and they all swam along with the fishes closer to the bank.
She felt her heart beat fast as a large lump formed in her throat. She felt her eyes sting before tears began flowing down her eyes.
She did not know what they were neither have she ever seen them before but the certainly did not want to see blood.
For the first time she felt sympathy for a creature that was not human. She felt pain and compassion towards the beautifully unique creatures.
Some of them raised their head which had long flowing hair of different colors that matched the color of their skin.
They had the height of a baby but they all seem to have fully matured well shaped body.
She noticed that they seemed to be adult humans with the colors they had and a very small body size in a way that she could not deny looked beautiful.
One of them caught her attention with her golden skin shining along with her wet hair which was above the water as she stared at her with beautiful golden pupils.
The woman looked so beautiful that she could not see her beauty anymore since her vision got blurred and and clouded by the non-stop running tears.
"Go . . . Go away from me. I don't want to see you get hurt. Please, go away," she sobbed into her palm.
She was in their kingdom to kill but she found herself unable to bear the fact that when she turns to leave, these beautiful creatures will die because of her and she had no reason why they will and she knew no way to stop it.
"Princess Aurora, are you okay?" Helen had to ask unable to bear to watch the scene that played before her anymore. This was the first time she was seeing the princess crying.
"Stay away from me. I don't want you to die," she shouted out aloud.
Helen paused on her track unsure of what to do. She wondered if her master found out what she did.
"Princess," Helen felt her eyes get clouded by tears too before the tears began running down her cheeks.
"I said stay away. Go back. I don't want to hurt you," Aurora begged the creatures and the unique fishes in the water.
Helen paused and did not move again as she watched the animals in the water and the creatures continue to gather and move close to the bank of the river. They were all looking at Aurora.
She finally understood what her master was talking to although she did not understand why her master was crying in such heartwretching manner that gave such of the feeling of agony and pain of the person who produced such sound.
The cry seem to affect everybody within that vicinity. The alpha King who was watching with his supernatural eyes sight immediately sprinted towards her in his human form after dressing up after his transformation.
Every being that was affected, felt the suffocating painful feeling she felt and the pain that felt like their heart was getting crushed like a smashed ripe tomatoe
