He might have not asked what is the relationship between the two but seeing how important and worried Lucas was to the unconscious omega, he can roughly guess that the omega had a great impact on the very domineering alpha such as Lucas.

"Let's go, Dr. Inoue," said Mikel as he directed the doctor to the room next door. Daniel already opened the door and went inside while still holding the door from inside the room as he waits for the two alpha to go in.

"Mikel, it might be something that I shouldn't ask but does your brother like Dr. Aoki?" A curious mind would always be curious until it can no longer hold it without knowing the answer, being a doctor Dr. Inoue wanted to feed his curiosity but he still need to be very respectful.
