Capítulo 1040: A Familiar Place and Person

It was a peaceful night for Amy and White, and Amy was starting to think that maybe she had just been a bit paranoid the day before.

So she did her usual: ate her breakfast, checked her phone for any news and to see her morning message from Gary, and went to kiss her mother before heading out with White.

All three lived in the same apartment, and even Amy’s mother was accepting. It was like she hadn’t missed being a mother, now able to care for two girls instead of just one boy and girl.

Things were a lot easier this time as well, considering there were no finances to worry about.

Finally, the two of them were on their way to school, and Amy even had a bit more energy in her step, until White was the one to make a comment.

“That’s strange,” White said.

“What?” Amy asked.

“It just feels like no one is following us.”
