Capítulo 62: Acceptance 62

I was too shocked to move but Amir dragged me away from Arya. We saw the guard coming towards us. I noticed he was enjoying a snack while coming here. He mustn't have heard our conversation because he was too busy chewing his food. We both cast each other relieved looks. Amir must have sent him away for us to talk freely. With the guard returning I knew our talks will be censored from now on. I wasn't interested in those chats. I went beside the cell of Becca and Ronnie.

"I miss you a lot, Mara. As you know Ronnie is no fun. We can have a fling if you got tired of Lucien", she said half-joking and half-serious.

" I will think about it and it would be for the best if we don't hook up. It had ruined many friendships", I told her.

"You follow too many rules, Mara. Break at least some of it and live a little for God's sake", she said with a laugh.

" Shut up Becca. You keep out of trouble", said Ronnie.
