"And you thought that it would be okay to let them do that and tell them who you're watching house for?" his voice sounded colder when he said this second part. Celeste could also make out noises in the background which likely indicated he was around other people. 

"I didn't tell anyone whose house I was watching!" She quickly defended not wanting the other to be more annoyed with her than he already was. 

"They just happened to figure it out when they called the attached to our text." She explained holding back a whine in response to the other's attitude towards her. She didn't like it when the alpha was so cold towards her.

"I see. I would refrain from letting them take your phone as they please in the future. I don't like dealing with strangers when I am busy with other things. If it was you that wouldn't have been a problem." Bane replied. 

A moment of silence followed it seemed like the alpha was talking with someone else for a moment.
