With only a day from my birthday, I fear that the witches who practice dark magic have found my mate and have her captured. As I started to worry stormed Nick and Trent into the drawing-room making jokes.

How are we going to find this portal? I know that the portal is in the town of Alynthi and is about a two-week ride from the palace. I know that the dark witch's coven is about six miles away from the portal and I fear that they will try to prevent us from going to the portal.

As the others enter the room, I recognized that Trent's scent is off. But not to make the others worry I decided to talk to him.

"Hello, Trent how was your night?" I ask as he made his way towards me.

"It was alright just a little windy," he replied.

Nick seemed to realize that something is off give me a knowing look. Whenever Trent replied to us he would reply shyly and now here he is with a confident appearance.

"Are you alright mate?" Nick ask.
