3 days had passed since I received the news for Lady Cathrinia's arrival I prepared everything her chamber at the west wing, her training ground near at the west garden maybe after she give birth training would be her first priority she was knight I know her, of course I prepared her ceremony for being the Noble Consort and I should handle the rulers & the people feedback of this news so she will not feel stress.
I was waiting for her arrival at the Sun Gate servants gathered at the back, Bronze Crusaders together with Sir. Mylon & some Knigean guards, also I allowed the nobles & commoners to come and those who came where people that can be categories as ' gossipers ' there's no title separate the people & the rulers when it comes to gossips, I invited the Trideca-County heads but only a substitutes arrive their excuses are some dutiyrs need to do first, some problems rise at my region, and some said I have no time for greetings.
I could hear whispers from those gossipers.
' Why would the Empress greet her first.'
' I heard they're best friends.'
' Oh my goodness she betrayed him.'
' Did the Emperor really have an affair?'
' Then why would that girl be pregnant if not.'
' Maybe some other royals did it.'
' I though the Emperor truly love the Empress.'

You should all be glad that I'm the one hearing you all if Emperor Armaros was the one here I will just handle your funerals the empire's banners was rise and wave above the Sun Gate signals her arrival, everyone fixed their postures when the gates opened a carriage with the crest of the Novun & the Knigean guarded with dozens or almost hundred Acun Guards riding some magical beasts, even the Acun Guards where kind of surprise of me waiting or welcoming her arrival to the Novun Palace.
The carriage stops at my front the Acun Guard Captain salute when he meet me and give a letter with a sigil of House Novun I read it and close it after I read the contents the carriage opens its doors a woman wearing a long dress dyed on winter blue adorned with light crystals for safety of the child and the mother it was magical item her tanned skin, black eyes, and hair like wave of ice, she still have her beauty.
" ' Welcome to the Novun Palace Lady Cathrinia and to your future child we're glad the you had a safe arrival, also let the maids handle your things and the butlers where guide you to your bed chamber at the west wing.'(Acunbic)" I welcome her with the language used by House Novun and everyone were shock, Lady Cathrinia and her child are already part of House Novun so it was right to speak like this even if she is just a mistress.
" Thank you Empress Amaris for welcoming me and I'm sorry I'm not fluent with Acunbic, but thank you for the time given to me and my child other sun of the Acun Empire." She was bowing her head her expression kind of worried about something, whispers can be heard why would they noy just shut up.
' That's her? she's beautiful but Empress Amaris was gorgeous even for a woman.'
' Maybe the emperor have different taste.'
' Our Empress still greater than her.'
' Why would the Emperor betray the Empress for that girl.'
" Your welcome Lady Cathrinia and please feel free to ask anything to me I as the Empress will accompany the mother of the first child of the Emperor, also please come in and have your rest at your chamber I already prepared snacks, bath, and a proper bed for you for the Acun Guards you may all rest now I will handle her by myself." I said and the Acun Guards salutes then take their leave I move near to her side holds her hand smiling she grin back but something felt worried to her.
" Thank you very much Empress Amaris I can still handle myself to go at my chamber I'm so sorry for asking for your time, I'm very glad for everything I'm contented already thank you for everything." I see I should clear her worries maybe tomorrow or the next day the others are looking at us with their malicious eyes Sir. Mylon and the Bronze Crusaders are glaring at them back.
" Its okay Lady Cathrinia I will accompany you and to all citizens here of Acun Empire spread the news to the others that I, Empress Amaris invite everyone to attend tomorrow's ceremony for Lady Cathrinia Knigean as the ' Noble Consort ' of the Acun Empire." She glance at me with her jaw kind of drop even the others were absolutely shock with my announcement I called Sir. Mylon ordered him together with the Bronze Crusaders to spread the news today.
" But your Empress Amaris we can proceed the ceremony maybe the other days or months or maybe year Its an honor but I don't you to felt exhausted for me." I hold her hands look to her eyes tilt my head giving a sigh.
" Don't worry I'm energetic we will proceed tomorrow and no more I'm doing this not because your the woman of the Emperor it's because you're my best friend right." I remarks she nods her head and her eyes looking down she was kind of relieved I believe.
I accompanied her togethet with the servants I let the butlers go guide the Acun Guards first to their quarters I summoned one Nova Orb to aid her and the child I know she healthy but still we need to be sure, when the time we reach her chamber I help her sit at the couch the maids place her snacks & drinks I prepared for her, also I let the servants fix her things properly I sat at the couch facing her at the opposite side.
" Thank you very much Empress Amaris for this wonderful chamber." Lady Cathrinia said.
" Your welcome and I'm you like it my problem only is would you get use to this extravagance surroundings even I can't get of it at all." I chuckles holding a tea on my hands she covered her mouth like she always do when she giggles she look up to my eyes then escapes it.
" Even at House Knigean my own place I'm never ever going to get use of numerous extravagant views even though we're a family of knights both Magical Knights & Aura Knights, also thank you for preparing for the tea is this something new?" She asked then took a sip her expression was actually surprise and take another sips or until she drink all of it on her cup, she giggles again covering her mouth its like the old days wait we're still young.
" Yes its a new drink we're selling it to the Northeria Empire which are suffering from a famine and that drink is a new special of our empire it can last longer than the others with much delicious taste, go drink more I prepared a lot for you Cathri." I replied she was looking straight to my eyes when I called her nickname did my eyes trick me there's kind of tears in her eyes she wipes it and smile.
" I see it was truly delicious Ris thank you very much for everything." She called me by my nickname how many times did she said thank you to me.
" I prepared your training ground near at the West Garden after your birth you can go train your swordsmanship once again maybe we can spar like before." I said taking a bite of a cookie at the table she took a cookie to and bite its our favorite sweet caramel.
" Of course we can Ris thank you very much."
" Cathri how many did you already said ' thank you ' today I always replied ' your welcome ' you know its tiring right I'm doing this for you and no more." I rise from my sit now that she's here I should prepare the ceremony for tomorrow.
" But still this is too much and I'm sorry Ris." I glance at her before I leave she was truly sincere and worried about me I should clear something tomorrow.
" Its okay Cathri I'm fine go take your rest I should handle the procedures for your ceremony tomorrow good bye." I left her room and goes straight to my Imperial Office called some servants to deliver specifics reports & files.
I should take a rest for now and its been hours since she came the maids said she's already sleeping I'm glad she didn't think a lot of her situation for now, also the letter from Emperor Armaros only I know what is the contents of it.
' Amaris don't lay your hands at her at all.'
Why would I hurt my best friend.....sniff.....sobs....sniff.....she is my best friend no matter what happens so why would you.....sobs....sobs...sniff....think something I can't do Armaros what did you know about me ....sobs.....sniff...we're are close friends too so you should I can't hurt my.....sobs....friend at all have you already forsake me?.....sniffs...I should go back to my work for now.
