Capítulo 26: Angel's Trick

"You're pregnant? How?" Devon can't believe what I just told him.

"I'm married, you know!" I can't stop laughing at his reaction.

"I know, you keep on reminding me about that. But you're a vampire!" He still can't believe it.

"Well, it happens according to Madam Rouge," I explained to him

"There goes my chance!" He slapped himself on his forehead.

"Don't tell me you're still infatuated with me!" I giggled, teasing him.

"It's not infatuation! I believe it is love. But then you just crushed it completely." He looks sad saying those words but still trying to be funny.

"Devon...you know how I feel about you! You're my new best friend now." I informed him.

"Ouch, friendzone is more painful than I thought!" He chuckled.

I can't stop laughing at his reaction to all of these. But I know that deep inside, he means what he just told me. I just have to brush it off because I belong to my husband. Especially now that I'm pregnant.
