Capítulo 17: Chapter 17

Bull strode over to the bedroom area hidden by a Japanese screen. He found the bedroom and went into the closet, saw a suitcase and began to throw in clothing. Jamie followed him. “What the fuck are you doing?”

“I’m getting you ready to come home with me. The others have been through enough tonight because of the two of us. Let’s leave them in peace. I’ll stay off your back if you stay off mine.”

“All right, I’ll stay with you, but just for tonight. After that I go with one of the others or come home,” Jamie said, exhaustion evident in every move of his body. “I need to take a shower before we leave or I’m going to stiffen up.”

“I’ll wait.” Bull went over to the television and turned on the news. The cat jumped into his lap. Bull pushed him away. Mischief jumped up again. Bull gave up and began to pet the cat.

Jamie stayed under the hot water for a glorious fifteen minutes.

“Hey are you all right in there?” Bull shouted through the door.

Jamie didn’t answer.
