“You can probably take Dakota’s room for now. It’s not like he needs it.” Her voice slurred as she could feel herself already drifting off. Normally, Kenna would have to trust the occupants of a room in order to let her guard down, but she simply couldn’t help it. Both now and back at Yuuki’s apartment. “It’s the—it’s the last one, all the way in the back. They always put him as far away from the rest of us as possible. Like he—like he has the plague or something.”

Though she couldn’t be certain, Kenna thought she heard Yuuki say something about taking the couch downstairs instead. Fatigue overcame her, and Ken passed out before Yuuki even left the room.
