“I guess I owe you something, too, don’t I?” Frankie whispered. “I’d be paying you both back at the same time. I guess that would be okay.”

Paris didn’t know who moved first, but something drew them. Something so hot and strong that neither of them could deny it. The two of them jumped apart and saw Shayde standing there watching them. “Uh, we—” Paris began.

“Forget it,” she said, her gaze darting around. “Where’s Grant?”

“I don’t know. He left a minute ago.”

“Good,” Shayde said as she slowly sat down. “Frankie, have you told Paris why you came back?”

“Haven’t had time. Grant’s been showing his ass again.”
