There were hints of the coming autumn around him,and he liked that even though it was a town, there were so many trees and patches of grass everywhere. This was his first visit to Finland,so he wondered if other places were like this too.He was so used to his old hometown in the States being pretty much flat and covered in concrete and asphalt.Flowerbeds were for the town park and the sides of houses. The closer he got to the bigger shops, the more he liked the seemingly random building styles. There was everything from stone buildings to surprisingly large buildings covered with wood and others with brick. The newer buildings were your typical, average concrete blocks that were much the same everywhere, but most of the buildings seemed to be differently colored brick.
Dallas looked around, and when he found a bookstore,he walked in.
The clerk,a woman around his own age, greeted him in Finnish, and Dallas just smiled.
