She looked around.People jostled her as they danced,but suddenly she didn’t recognize anyone nearby.Something akin to panic rose within her,but it might have been nausea,or too much drink too fast.She needed to clear her head for a moment,if she could.She needed to get out.

Blindly,she pushed through the crowd,heading for the door.Onher way there,someone snagged her arm and she spun to find Mike’s concerned face frowning down at her.“Jenny?You okay?”

“Fine,”she said,a little shaky.“I just need some air.”
