“Did you sleep well, Jacques?” Same tone.

I was startled because I hadn’t seen where Nicholas was until now. He stood across the room and was naked as well. I gave him a nod. “Yes, Sir. Thank you.”

“Are you hungry?”

I nodded a little. My stomach let out a low growl and spoke for me. I hadn’t eaten since my lunch break at work, which hadn’t been much, really.

“Get dressed and I’ll feed you.” He started getting dressed himself. “The mini fridge is for my special guests who want water or snacks during breaks.”

“Will I be able to get the rest of my things from my apartment?” I had to admit that I missed some stuff, mostly my phone, laptop, and some clothes.

“You won’t need them living here. If you need something specific, you ask, and I’ll decide whether it’s necessary.”
