Gerald felt a strange atmosphere between Haiden and Valery.
All the employees in the company saw them watch a movie together that night. The following day, Valery didn't come to work, and Haiden sat alone in the office and worked until midnight.
However, Valery looked the same as always when she came back to work.
Gerald asked her if something had happened that night, and she replied to him with only one word "Nothing!"
Gerald was sure something must have happened that night, but he couldn't get any information from Valery. Since he dared not to ask Haiden, he could only secretly make the deduction.
Haiden and Valery still worked together in tacit understanding. They went to the factory to see the latest progress. Valery still helped him drink the wine when they went out to socialize and worked overtime at night to wait for Haiden to get off work together.
Neither of them mentioned what happened that night as if nothing had changed between them.
