The tree with the red crystal that was supposed to be the Temporal node was magnificent, its crystal-like branches reaching up to a starless sky.

The air was thick with the scent of ozone and the energy was so dense it was almost tangible. The floating platforms and the creatures guarding them remained the same. They were asleep but Aldrin could tell they'd all wake up to prevent him from claiming the node.

Without wasting a second, he checked the status of the Idle Adventure which could now be accessed by him even without the use of a device.
