Capítulo 75: Chapter 75: Long-awaited Reunion, Part 1

Bob had been busy making arrangements for his grandfather’s care and getting all documents in order over the last couple of days.

Now finally, the long-awaited day had arrived. He looked at his watch -- 2:00 p.m. and it was time to head to the airport to fetch Jackie.

He was elated that he’d be seeing her again today but felt apprehensive at the same time. The discussion they had in Singapore about their complicated relationship was left unresolved.

He was tempted to raise the matter with his grandfather, but having just weaned him off his meds, Bob knew it wasn’t the right thing to do. He had to trust his better judgment, although it killed him to know Jackie was hurting.

As he walked toward his car, he took a deep breath, knowing the moment has come. All he knew was that he had a plan -- whether it would work was entirely up to Jackie.
