[Dua Residency, Kuala Lumpur]
“Hello, Ms. Veena. Security here. You have a guest by the name of Mr. Tang,” an echoey voice filtered through the intercom.
“Yes, I’m expecting him. Please send him up. Thank you.”
It wasn’t long before her doorbell chimed.
She opened the door, posing alluringly in nothing but a silk robe. She tilted her head slightly toward her raised shoulder and placed a bent wrist provocatively against the side of her waist. She looked ravishing as she offered her lover a sultry smile.
Ralph gazed at her impassively, clutching a bottle of champagne in his hand. And she noticed he looked slightly agitated and wondered why.
“You’ve got to get me a resident’s pass, Veena. I hate having to go through security -- this place is like Fort Knox!” he whined.
A wry smile formed on her face. She turned around to face her tastefully furnished living room and gestured for the man behind her to enter.
