I sat unmoving in the lukewarm water, fully clothed. I don't know how long I was sitting there, but I was starting to become numb to my feelings. I hate being alone. there are always more thoughts to invade my mind and trap me in an endless cycle of rapid thinking that in the end get me nowhere. Is it selfish to wish that Mi'Jay had never gone to that press conference? without him there was silence, but not the comfortable one. this was the silence that taunted you and played tricks, drove you insane, made you forget who you are. I didn't know why I was beginning to get so attached to Mi'Jay. There was just something about him that made me want to discover more. why was he always so alone, how could his heart be so closed off from the word yet he was so giving and kind. How was it possible for his smile to light up my world. Whenever I was with him I didn't feel alone, I often lost track of time.
