Capítulo 20: See My Daughter

Jeannie and Delaney enjoyed a leisurely coffee on the small balcony while listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Jeannie closed her eyes a bit, letting the sound wash over her. This was the sound that her mother used to love.

When her mother's memory had first started to fade, her mother would often stare into the distance, and talk about this feeling of peace that came with the sound of waves. And finally, in those final times before she had been admitted into the hospital, Jeannie had downloaded the sound of waves and would often play it for her to calm her down.
