"Grandpa!" shouted Z as he saw a man at the entrance of the forest looking in his way.
"Z...is that really you?" said his grandfather with a longing voice.
"I missed you, grandpa" said Z as he hugged the man.
"I knew you weren't dead. I also believed you would return"
"Haha, of course. I was trained by you after all."
Z told his grandfather about all the experiences he had inside the forest. Sadness and Joy permeated the heart of the old man as his emotions took a ride in the caravan of fear, sadness, and excitement. After learning that Z can leave the valley, his grandfather was so happy that he informed all the people in the village. A banquet was thrown in celebration of his return and future departure. Countless laughters resound through the night while bonfires and torches light the village. There were dancing and singing, a true feast in the village.
"Z, I am sure you are going to rock the world outside." said Koga
"Haha, I dare not be overconfident. At the moment, I am merely a frog in a well."
"That is correct. Never overestimate your capabilities. As the books say there is always a bigger mountain." said his grandfather
"Come on B, you need to help me build pride and confidence in your grandson." pestered Koga
"Z, confidence and all is good but, you need to make sure that it is in moderation. Too much of anything is bad."
"I will keep that in mind, grandpa" said Z with a smile
After staying with his grandfather for a month, he decided that it was time for him to leave. After preparing and bidding farewells to the villagers and his grandpa, he walked towards the northernmost part of the village. Standing before the arc of stone, Z began to climb. His body per se was ready strong, coupled with his yellow stage, it was a breeze climbing the cliff.
After climbing for a while, he finally reached the top. Gentle stroke of wind greeted his face as he peeked at the outside world. He was ecstatic. An enormous smile was revealed and he couldn't help but release joy. This was the start of his journey. His first step on his road to reach the stars.
After calming down and looking around, he noticed that he was atop a mountain. The pit was dug at the peak causing it to have no tip and instead has a pit.
"It does look more like a pit than a valley" Z remarked as he looked at the topography of the Valley of Repentance from above.
