While Haize was unaware of Frost Glacier's plans, Frost Glacier was aware that Haize was unaware of his plans.

That alone made Frost Glacier confident that his plan could work as long as there weren't any unforeseen variables.

With that confidence in mind, Frost Glacier used his ice manipulation again but not to create ice mirrors as the space cube domain was already filled with it.
