Stephanie felt her whole being crumbling as she heard Amon say that she, too, might get affected by her husband's action.

"What do I do?" Stephanie murmured while questioning herself. She didn't think that tonight would be a huge reality check for her.

She expected to enjoy dinner with her guest, but her own curiosity has ruined her mood.

Amon has a smirk on his face seeing Stephanie's distress. What better time than now to take advantage of this?

He puts his hand on her back and gently rubs it, trying to cheer her up.

"There is a way you can stay far away from all this..." Amon says, instantly getting her undivided attention.

"How?" She asks.

"I shouldn't be doing this because it would be abusing my power, but I can make it so that your name is never brought up during any investigation," Amon says.

"Investigation?" Stephanie questions.
