I’m only on chapter 18 and everyone saying this is the same as the original just hasnt read far enough. It’s already a completely different story, and it’s so well written, plus the chapters are much longer than I was expecting. This is the best overlord fanfic I’ve read, probably my second favorite fanfic so far behind Path to Power (one piece)

Really great ! With immense knowledge about Overlord I enjoy it very much ! I hope author will continue and update more regularly this hidden gem should be known by everyone who like Overlord !
Very well thought out story that gives the reader a new look into the personalities of the Supreme Beings. The story itself doesnt deviate drastically from the original but it doesnt change the fact that this is like the best overlord ff.

Best Overlord Fanfic I've Read,pls complete this masterpiece author San and it will be cool if you make a plot twist like Ains being the consciousness of the dreaming god azatoth and him being absolute and powerful
I love this overlord fic it has so many aspects that I love. the only downside I can see is the vast amount of charecters which makes it hard to remember which character is being talked about in some moments. But overall this is one of my favorite overlord story and most likely is my favorite.
Overall this is a great read, where so many aspects are brought together. The aspects of horror and slice of life are sometimes present and they mix well together..I have to say that this is one of the best overlord stories out there. Personally I hope that this story becomes more popular and earns the credit it deserves.
relationships, friendship logic and romance aspect....feels really weird, with mild undertones of ntr, and volunteering to be slaves which I can't comprehend. the mc and how he got aware of the plot just seem off and forced. I don't know how to feel about this, the grammar and writing quality is pretty decent but some parts of the story just feels off putting to me.
it's amazing at first i was at doubt cuz everything seems just like the original but the later chapter are amazing other than a few misspellings.
it's super b, the writing, the progression but the update is slow, I only read the first half, slow paced but good and it's also have a short stories at the end of the chapters
so far trully an amazing fanfiction the lenght of the chapters are long and greatly made characters are great so far story is also verry nice cant wait for more
Fanfic than can be considered as an Original novel. I definitely recommend reading this ff. Writing quality is 4 because some chapters is not proofreaded so there is a lot of writing errors. Story Development is 5 because it doesnt stick to canon plot which makes this better than the original overlord Character Design is 5 because they are fleshed out and not revolving into one dimensional trait. Updating Stability is 5 because it sticks to the weekly release rate. World Background is an absolute 5. The changes made by author is fricking fantastic and much more interesting than the original overlord. Definitely a hidden gem!
If everything was fine at the beginning, then some nonsense began a little further. 1) Doppelganger ring? Seriously? The beauty of the original story is that we are looking at the development of ordinary office plankton into insensitive, cruel undead, and then immediately such a indulgence. 2) Name change? What for? Remind me why Momonga changed his name in the original? 3) Oh yes, titles. I'm even too lazy to paint and explain anything. 4) Most of the story is, in fact, a copy of the original. Why new characters? To pull over a couple of lines and actions? What has changed in the world? I'm disappointed.

basically the story is the same as the original. I expected this to be overlord from the point of view of the new characters. with the addition of the new characters there was basically no impact in the story. i'm disappointed.
I can honestly say this is one of the few Overlord fan-fics that truly feel like its own story, as much as its an adaptation and certain things are accelerated, it really nails the overlord feel I get from reading the original and watching the anime. Truly a great story Author, and I hope you fight the good fight so I can continue to enjoy your works!
I am giving this review because there is nothing new. So much of this is just copy and pasted from the original work and its sad to see. this could have been interesting if not for that fact
I may be biased, as I am one of the editors for the more recent chapters, however, that doesn't diminish the fact that I would have given the same rating before I was an editor. Anyone who has read Overlord has always wondered what would happen if Ainz wasn't alone and this is THE fic to read when it comes to such scenarios. The story is unique, the characters are lovely and are I say it is one of the most engaging fics out there.
This is one of the best stories I have ever read. the way the story progresses and characters develop is wonderful. You don't see a lot of Arthur's actually write a long story on this series and those who do normally stay as close to the plot as possible or add elements that make it not interesting to watch in my opinion.
from long chapters to interesting change to poggers author and translator..... thats all thanks you. IT'SSSS GOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
It's kinda like a rewrite of the original novel, In a way, this FF is better than the light novel, but it also hurts that much of the content is already explored and that the reader knows a good amount of stuff already so it kinda dragged at first for me.
