Capítulo 55: Common cockroach

"Hey no that's mine." I said to the landlord as I met him in the hall way moving out my lamp.

"You can take it along with all of your other stuff. I want you out of here!" he yelled grabbing the lamp from my hand for I had grabbed a hold onto it.

"No wait sir please." I begged tugging at the lamp as he tugged back, "I can pay you. I just forgot to do it before I left. Look. I've got cash on me."

"Look Miss Rodriquez you're months late on the rent and you've caused a big commotion here the other day, and I am always getting complaints about you from the neighbors." he said and I froze.

"Was it Marcela?"

"I can't say." he said, but I knew that it was her. That bitch, "look Marianna you're a very nice girl really, but I've already promised the place to somebody else and what can I do?"

I sighed as I let go of the lamp as I ran my hand over my face feeling a head ache coming on as I said quietly, "okay I understand. Can I just grab the rest of my stuff before I go?"
