When they were nearly to the end of the street, he turned and jumped to the house behind the one they currently stood on, rather than the next one over. From there, they climbed down to the street. Keeping to alleys as much as possible, weaving carefully through the city, he finally got them to the sewer entrance.

Pulling the door open, Omar retrieved the waiting lantern and lit it. He handed it off to Astira, then swung the pack on his back off and thrust it into Symaia's arms. "I've arranged horses for you in the encampment just outside. At the bottom of the stairs, go straight until you hit a crossroads. Go left and continue straight until you reach another. Right, right, left, then continue on straight. Do you have it?"
"Straight, left, right, right, left, straight," Symaia repeated. "You're not coming with us?"
