Capítulo 57: Flaunting his wealth

Ket took me up the stairs, and as we walked up, he told me about the pieces of furniture in the house. He claimed that the house was built by an architect from Romania, and I'm still in doubt about that. However, I didn't make him aware of my thoughts, as I'm afraid, he might not tell me more.

"That chandelier you saw was bought from an old aristocratic family for #30,000."

This time, instead of nodding along like I've been doing, I scoffed aloud.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I guess something entered my nose. Could be dust."

He glanced at me when I said those words, "how can there be dust when the house is cleaned daily? Are you sure about that? I can ask sir Mar to change the—"

"Don't bother."

I had to prevent him from telling Mar anything for the poor workers who have been working their butts off to keep the place tidy.

"Are you confident? You said dust—"
