Capítulo 223: Ch 10 - Prank
Jason stepped back and stopped the flow of energy.
Xiao Ruse was dumbfounded, staring dumbly at the solid jewels floating over the back of her hands.
"Are these... my Jewels?... Did I become a Jewel Master? B-But... how... how is this possible?" She stared at them for a few seconds before shouting out.
She thought Jason must have done something to her which caused her to have hallucinations regarding having jewels and it really angered her.
Becoming a jewel master was her dream once but now he was making fun of her.
Jason sighed and grabbed her hand, pulling her in his arms. "Listen carefully, little girl! You want to become a Jewel Master and I fulfilled your wish so stop acting like a child. Now, go and achieve your dream. Also, don't forget the deal."
He rubbed her stomach close to her lower mouth and whispered. "I own your womb now. Only I can use it, okay?"
"Y-You!..." Xiao Ruse was amused by his words and stared again at her jewels before she sighed heavily and asked.
"Why do you help me? And don't tell me you want me to conceive your child? I want to know the truth."
Jason glanced at Huyan Lanruo and others and smiled, speaking. "Because I like ambitious girls like you. Your resolve to walk on your path despite the lack of strength impresses me. And since you already have the idea of looking for a man to have his child before throwing him out of the house, so I thought why let someone else have the chance? I'm not helping you for free since I get the chance to knock out a beauty. Only an idiot will miss such a chance."
Xiao Ruse was flabbergasted by his reply and sighed again. Just for such logic, he did something that completely changed her life. Maybe for him, it was just a thing that he did on a whim but for her, it was akin to a life-saving grace.
His simple action would change her life completely.
Ruse couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement along with gratitude as she bowed to him.
"Thank you, I can't express how much you have helped me with this small action of yours."
Jason waved his hand and laughed. "Forget it. It's just a small matter. Anyway, what's more important is how old are you?"
Xiao Ruse blushed since she understood why he was asking about her age. She fidgeted with her fingers, interlocking them as she replied. "I... I'm still 14 years old."
"Oh, I never realized our new sister is so young." Huyan Lanruo giggled and patted her shoulder. "Hehe... sorry for teasing you so much just now."
Erina also smiled and said. "Remember that you're one of us now so don't be shy in the future and visit us, okay? Even if we will not be together in the future but at least let me sisters as long as we're here."
Xiao Ruse was both amused and startled by their words. Just because of her words, the owner of the restaurant had claimed her womb as he wanted her to conceive his child. Not only that but his wives even treated her as a little sister so enthusiastically.
But despite how overwhelmed she was feeling, she realized one thing clearly that none of the people inside the shop was a simple character.
After all, helping anyone awakening their jewels with such ease, aside from them, she didn't know anyone who could achieve such a feat.
She sighed and thanked them again before leaving the shop in half a daze. She still couldn't believe that she had awakened her jewels and glanced at them again and again to make sure that she was not dreaming at all.
"Are you serious about knocking her out?" Erina asked with a smile.
Jason looked at her and smiled, shaking his head. "Nah. I just pulled a prank on her. She has a strong character just like Ye Ziyun. If I had helped her without that joke, she must have been overwhelmed with gratitude for us. And combined with her background, I don't want to imagine all sorts of troubles that I have to face in the future. Just let her think that she owned a child to me. It will force her to improve her strength and also act as a deterrent from revealing it to anyone else."
"But what if she revealed it anyway?" The black-haired beauty asked. Her name was Xue Yun. She was once a member of the Heavenly Note Sect and now his Dual Cauldron.
Jason smiled and stated at the back of Xiao Ruse, speaking confidently. "It will be impossible for someone like her character to reveal it so openly. So, we don't have to hurry. But man, we sure have some insane luck to come across two characters in just one day. I initially thought that it would take at least a month before we would see one of them but two on the same day. Talk about coincidence. Anyway, let's finish our first day and then go back to rest."
"Okay," The girls spoke excitedly.
Jason had his own plan in action but it was not the time to talk about it, it would be revealed later.
On the other hand, Xiao Ruse rushed back to her home and shared the good news with her father.
Xiao Yunchen, her father was at first doubtful but once he saw the hard evidence in the form of those glistering pure jewels on the back of her hand, he was shocked before dancing in joy just like Zhou Shuiniu.
There was no limit to his happiness since he was always slightly worried for his daughter when she failed but now she came across a lucky encounter and her fate changed entirely.
He inquired about it to his daughter but she refused to tell her and only said that she had a fateful encounter which resulted in her awakening her jewels.
Even though he was still doubtful but since his daughter said so, he decided to believe in his daughter.
Ruse was a very sensible and intelligent child from a young age and he knew that he could trust the judgment of her daughter.
