Capítulo 33: Chapter 17

Melody Pott was the most studious girl in her high school, perhaps the most studious in all of Brooklyn. Unlike her older brother who, after finishing high school, had chosen not to go to university.

Since he had nothing to do every morning, he was the one who took his sister to school.

Melody didn't mind he was giving her a ride. She was happy to show her beautiful stepbrother to her friends. In fact, she took all the time to get out of the car and to greet him from the passenger window, before reaching them.

«You should stop it, you know it right?»

«Why? I love their envious glances. Maybe I should arrange you a date with one of them, in exchange for money.»

«Does our mother know, that under your pretty good girl face hides a monster like that?»

«Don't be silly Emanuel. I'm good at keeping it from her, she'll never find out.»

Emanuel laughed. «Stop joking and hurry up, fairy.»
