Capítulo 54: The preparation

“I see.” Ruda smiled at me after I told him Yohan could be healed and the whole story behind it. But I could tell that there was pain behind his smile. “That’s good.” He said while I held his hands, “That’s really good. He didn’t deserve this.” He looked at me, “You should take him as soon as possible.” His voice was low as he spoke.

“You won’t come?” I asked him and he shook his head.

“I need some time…” He slipped his hands away from mine, “I need to do a lot of thinking…” He looked away.

“Ruda…” I placed my hand on his shoulder, “I understand, it must’ve been hard.”

“...” He didn’t answer. He seemed to be lost in his thoughts. After learning some new things from that blonde man he’s been at a loss. More so because we don’t even know if he spoke the truth or was just trying to mess with us, although much of it was very convincing.

Not knowing where to stand is very hard, having your trust betrayed is even harder.
