"Why the long face?" A man probably the helping staff asked as he gave a rose to Rose, his half face being hidden with a mask.

"Hmm? Excuse me?" Rose confused by the sudden person asked as she tilted her head.

"Its your debut ball, so why are you standing here in place of dancing there." He asked again with a smile.

Rose usually is cautious about people like him, but this person seemed different and she for some reason couldn't bring herself to push him away.
