Capítulo 72: Deadline

A few days after the conclusion of the Hunt.

The uproar caused by the mass 'disappearance' of the Institute participants had yet to die down.

Almost everyone was coming up with 'theories'- each one wilder than the last. Divine punishment was probably the least weird one out of them all. But classes continued nevertheless.

Adrian accompanied Isabella for a bit before bidding her farewell. He had other things to do.

Adrian went all the way from the second to the fourth where the fourth year classes were held. He walked to one of the doors on the corridor and barged in, not bothering to give a knock.

"Darling." He said the moment he walked into the small decorated room. At the other end of the room lied a desk.

Evelyn, who was sitting at that desk, stood up from her seat. "What are you doing here? I was planning to visit you today."

"Oh. Were you really?" He gave her a look and a smile while he circled around the desk.
