Elizabeth's POV

My cousin, Melrose and my current companion, Katia were enjoying talking to one another, having a long conversation and story exchange to spend their time together and deepen their bond.

There's just one thing wrong here.

Katia fidgets around in her seat. "I threw… um… a snowball at her face and that's how we first met." 

"Oh how sweet, so that's how you met! I wasn't expecting for anyone to humiliate my cousin with a snowball and lived to tell the tale." (Melrose) side eyes me, taking a sip of her drink. "Truly, you're someone special."

"I was trying to shake the crown princess behind my back- and I didn't even know she was part royalty."

Sip… I don't know if I like getting these two along so much to the point I need to be careful and plan ahead.
