Capítulo 250: Chapter (Two Hundred) Forty Nine: Shoulders

People spoke around her but she couldn't make out a single word. Their voices sounded muffled, like her head was submerged under water. Becca tried moving her feet but they felt stiff and her wrists felt restrained, its tightness digging into her flesh.

The voices quietened to a dull murmur and she forced her eyelids open. Then everything came rushing back. The events of the night, the parking lot, she was attacked. Navaya. What did they do to Navaya? She could feel the effects of whatever they had drugged her with easing.

" She's awake." Someone said but between Becca's ensuing panic, confusion and the headache slowly blooming behind her eyes, she couldn't make out who the voice belonged to. Her head felt fuzzy, like it was stuffed with cotton. Nothing made sense. Where was she? She looked to be in some sort of storage room with barely enough illusion to see her feet.
