" You have always had such nice hair. Silky. Soft." Celeste said, running her fingers through Dominic's thick long hair. She stood behind him while he sat on a chair that directly faced the mirror. " It's a shame we never had a girl. I would have liked her to have hair like yours."

In front of the mirror, Dominic stared at his reflection, eyes cloaked by a vague shadow as Celeste's words streamed in his ears but it only lasted a mere fleeting moment. 

A daughter...

" Yes. Such a shame..."

Dominic couldn't care less about his hair, he might as well be an Italian Jesus with how long it was. Only he was no saint, nor was he righteous. Not with all he had done.
